As a Welshman myself I find it intensely embarrassing. This stupid woman should have been told to stick her complaint where the sun don't shine. And no, the majority of Welshman don't hate the English, it's just that the pathetic bigoted minority are far more vocal, same as anywhere else.

I can not believe that being called English could be an insult. I (as an Englishman) would take it as a compliment. So far as being called Welsh is concerned I've lived in Liverpool long enough to accept that the Welsh are not to bad, as a joint second best with the Irish of course

I think that there is a general perception that the anti discrimination laws act in favour of some sectors of society only. While this does appear on the face of it to be taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut, there is some satisfaction in the fact that the descendants of the Ancient Britons can have their complaints taken seriously by the authorities. As a public relations exercise, therefore, it is not completely without merit.

Yes, but don't tell the PC brigade. I suspect that it was down to the Welsh woman who was obviously a poor driver and had a crash with the lorry. Her fault and to deflect this decided to go for the race card. It will be noted that the only people who can not use the race card are White, English and probably male.
