The Question is if you could.
What part of that don't you get? So just because we can't you wouldn't like to see another time and place?

I want to make the trip, not to arrive at a destination.

I want to see the life cycle of the physical universe, beginning to end. Then I suppose that I would blink out of existence in the next 'big bang' or whatever ends this universe.

Honestly, neither.
At this point in my life, I'm the happiest I've ever been.
I wouldn't want to change anything in the past because every right and wrong decision I've made has, in some way, brought me here.
I also think "living in the moment" is important. That's why I wouldn't time travel to the future either. I just want to enjoy life right now and let what happens, happens.

I'd go back because I have a lot of catching up to do! Maybe twice the time devoted to it would get a little more done.
On the other hand maybe going forward far enough so that no one would remember what I've promised them would be a better solution!

I would travel forward. Maybe like 2 years. Just to see where I will be. I am 21 now so I would like to see what my life will be like in 2 years. I am currently with the love of my life, or at least I think I am and my family hates him. I want to go forward to see if they eventually can reconcile their differences and learn to accept the fact that he loves me and we are going to be together.

I would like to go 100,000 to a million years or so, into the future, to see how mankind has progressed (or regressed). Either way, it would be interesting. The Past?! We've already been there, done that!

I'd visit the Library of Alexandria and digitally scan/save as many of the books as I could before the place got torched!
