I disagree with the above. I am most of the time looking for real answers to real questions that I have. There are many types of question that are too specific to be researched on the web. Other questions are more like polls, where I want to know other people's opinion on some particular issue in my life. I want to know how other people deal with certain challenges in life. I think this site should not be used as a platform for rants and raves, there are plenty of other places on the internet for that.

Yes, very interesting. The questions I ask I am typically looking for an opinionated answer from someone with that experience. Something google doesn't provide me with.
