my 9 year old daughter collects eraser shavings. she wants to know if she is the only one.
(I think she might be the only one)

It's not unusual for a child of this age.Please don't worry about this. I know a few of them of the same age group behaving in this manner.It's simply a curiosity and nothing else.It shloudn't be taken as matter of concern.After a while she will herself give up this habit if she finds or you encourage her to pick up the habit of doing something more interesting or something different , but quite amusing to her.

Sorry but no, my friend collects earser shavings and then she rools them up into like string or something! I think they are probely the only two who do though!

No I never did, and never heard of anyone that did. But I have heard of kids collecting wierd things. It's her thing. It will pass.

I think so. But, I used to collect pencil sharpener shavings, so i dont think she should worry.

i use to collect them, along with pencil shavings. i would craft with them...i would glue them onto paper and make wall decorations. how odd huh? i used to also docorate my room with newspaper and old movie ticket stubs. lol. so creative. lol.

every child has there "thing".

I collected tags from clothes. still don`t know why. Lol.

she thinks shes weird im twenty five and i collect toe jam been saving it for 5 years .
