No but I did find my gifts that were hidden in the closet and that ended Santa Claus for me along with the fun of Christmas.

Yep I did do that ONE time. Didn't think that mom and dad knew that I had done that. When it got time for us to unwrap the gifts, the one gift that I did unwrap and then wrap back was not there.

Dummy me asked where it was at. They told me that someone opened it up so they took it back to the store. I was so broken hearted that I went off to myself and cried. It was a doll that I wanted so bad. About 2 weeks later I found her on my bed. I was so happy. Mom came in my room and told me the next time that I opened up another gift and then tried to wrap it back up I would not get that gift. I never did it again!

Yes-My sister and I would sneak down the hall every year and open some (if not all) of our presents and then rewrap. One year we were mad at our brothers and so we took all of their presents back into our room and hid them in our closet so that they would have NO presents Christmas morning. Got caught though. We had to go past our parents room to get to the Living room so we would wait for the heater to kick on (since it was noisy) and then run past. In the 10 or so years we did this we never got caught.

Yes we did many times and we always got caught. Sometimes the stuff went back to the store too just like mom threatened it would. We still tried the next year. Kids will be kids.

Still, do!
I have even so far as went to the store to buy the same paper so I can just rip it up and not be so careful whe I rewrap. My brother never was as good as me he would get caught!
It is fun to hunt for my presents (like Easter egg Hunting) but it is Christmas!FIND them re wrap and put them back....
My husband and kids know I do it...
My oldest daughter just brings my gift over so I can see it before she wraps it.. I love that child. she like me with presents she like to see people happy and can not wait to share good stuff..
.I guess she doesn't want me hunting for my present in her house.
When I buy my husbands gift almost everyday I ask him does he want to to See! what I got him..Or does he want me to give him a riddle
He is no fun!
He always says he can wait. Then I say come on you will like it want to look? He smiles at me and says Nope! He says he likes to keep me in suspense!(lol) but I know what it is silly. Oh well!

Every Saturday my parents went into town to buy groceries and do their errands for the week, we would get into my mother's closet and unwrap what we could and peek and then wrap them again the best we could, that was a very habit for me to break, I still can not see a present under the tree and if it's for me.. I think of way to get to it! Drives me crazy!

I tried!...was never successful in being able to open the gifts as my mom would tape the ribbon onto the packages! Any meddling with the wrappings would have torn them up...

No. I love to be suprised. I never even tried to find my presents. Once I saw the end of a box on my parents bedroom floor and knew that I was going to get new boots and I was sad because I had seen it.

Guilty!! After I had my own kids, I thought I was real smart. I didn't put tags on the gifts until close to Christmas. Of course I had to create a code for myself, in order to know who's was who's, when I went back to put the names on the gifts.
Just a couple of years ago (both my kids are grown and have kids of their own) my kids were having quite a laugh at my expense. It seems they figured out my code early on and never let on.

Not that I remember. My parents kept the gifts in a locked up trunk until Christmas Eve. We didn't know about the trunk until we were teenagers and even then we just knew that if there was any sign of tampering we would not see those gifts again.
