I beg to difer, Silent Hill was a great game and the movie lived up to it. I heard Hitman was good and plan to see it while I am still off. The Resident Evil games have led to a trilogy, though I haven't seen the third yet. As far as future game to movie adaptations, God of War is at the top of my list, I am certain others feel the same. I do admit the average movie based on a game usually sucks. I would however, recommend Final Fantasy : Advent Children to any fan of Final Fantasy 7.

The Legend of Zelda
now that would make an awesome movie
the fact that it is like a typical love story, mid-evil, rescue princess and it would translate really well to the big screen.
In fact... Legend, starring a very young Tom Cruise was EXACTLY like legend of zelda, so in theory,
legend of zelda could be made into a movie and not flop.

Halo, most definitely, and it IS being made into a movie. And also Gears of War, but I think they may be making that into a movie, too.
