Read the featured article on the Bristish teacher teddy bear, and ask yourself if we should risk American lives for these people? Screaming for the execution of a woman because she allowed the children to give a teddy bear a name. Why would you want to save a country that hates anything that doesn't adhere to a hardline version of Islam. Isn't this like saving the Taliban? When will you people learn anything from the south vietnamese?

Yes it's ridiculous, but the victims of the genocide in Sudan are not Muslims and that's why they are being killed. Civilized nations should make a concerted effort to prevent the deaths of innocent people.

More to the point, the Taliban, Al Qaeda, and the Sudanese government are butchering Islam to suit their own needs. True Islam doesn't support the murdering those who are not Islam.

It's just like the many ignorant red necks of the KKK that use the bible to spew their nonsensical racist crap.

yeah it's definitely sad that people in some cultures have to be so hateful, i think the problem is that America just thinks that when something goes wrong out in the world, we are the ones, the only ones, that can help or "save" them. Yes i think that there are some countries that need aid from us and countries alike, but what we need to realize is that we can't help the entire world!

you act like fundamentalist Christians aren't a half step away from doing the same thing. let a sudanese teacher come to the USA and insult Jesus. they might not be calling for execution but they would be protesting wanting her deported. you are using the extreme muslims as a blanket for the whole religon when other muslim countries have condemned the actions as well

It's a small group of fanatics who are calling for her execution. I believe this is all being staged to take attention away from the real situation there.

It's idiocy like this that makes accepting Islam as "a religion of peace" impossible. It portrays them as unreasonable, intolerant, and dangerous. It puts all Muslims in the category of "watch your back when they're around."
