It all comes down to a bunch of macho jerks with too much time on their hands taking out the measuring tape and unbuttoning their fly. Why do you think bombs are the shape they are? Terrorism has NOTHING to do with religion. All world religions have one thing in common: the basic tenet is BE NICE. Too bad that world leaders take that to mean "be nice to those who give us the most money."

I honestly believe that religion doesn't matter. If your evil your religion has no power over you. I honestly hate when people say its because of the Muslim religion, I wish I knew more so I could have valid points, but I just don't. There's a race discriminated against every decade and right now its the Muslim community and I think people should just open up and see the other end of things.

I dont feel that it is the muslim religion which causes problems it is the radicals within the religion. It is the same with christanity. You have radicals within the christian movement which makes us all look bad. Just look at waco and ruby ridge. I do fill that Muslim is a religion which is based on violence and anger just from what I have read and seen. And when you have radicals teachings then you have problems.
I personally do not thank that I can tell someone what is wrong or right I can just tell My feelings on a subject and tell them they have to find peace withGod them selves. I cannot get you to heaven and you cannot get me there. I hope this does not sound mean or insulting that is not how I want it to sound. Keep your faith and hang in there.

I don't know much about your religion and whatever little I might know, I am fully aware that it might be wrong. I do agree with you one hundred percent that no religion in the world could be the source of terror and crime. Politics are always more powerful than religions but most of us don't see it that way though. The problem is fanaticism of any kind! Since the beginning of time, man had fought many wars always with the sole purpose to gain power and dominate others, unfortunately it will always be like this. But the Root problem is not religion at all.
Great question, thanks for asking it. ♥

I agree 100%. Religion is not a good reason for fighting, nor is race. But a lot of people believe that if you don't believe what they believe, then you must be wrong, and hostility comes from the fear that they might be wrong themselves. I think one of the reasons that people think badly of Muslims is because of war, and that effects everyone in the way they think.
Some of my best friends are Muslim. =]

Some people take views from Media or personal experience or gossip and classiy a whole culture, religion, sex etc. Do not let it sway you. I am a Christian and guess what? we get bad reps too. There are good people in every race, gender, religion and so forth. I don't hink that way about Muslims and neither do some other people.

You are right. Your religion is as a matter of fact, very peaceful but only people with a true understanding understand the meaning of "religion". It is only "mankind's" fault, if any religion need to be blamed for wars and terrorism.
I believe in peace and it's wonderful significance to humans, I have two young children, and I must believe in it. I just wished, people would "educate" themselves about "Wars and Religions". Everyone rushes always to know everthing and everyone yet insided of us, we are struggling to get to understand.

I'm not hugely into to religion, but was raised Christian. I believe all religions are real and just based on culture and the belief in a higher being. As long as you take care of yourself and yours, keep the peace and we SHOULD all be able to live just fine.

Count me in!!!! I agree with you that what is going on is all over terrorism & oil more than religion. I believe we can all get along and live in harmony & peace. I am not Muslim, I respect everyone's culture and religion. People need to educate themselves before being able to judge one another.

I think we need to learn how to respect and get along. Teach people to respect others. Learn about other religions and cultures before you can judge. We all need to know when to come to help someone in need.

I am Christian, please don't judge me because I was taught to love my God, My Jesus. Please don't make my children live in a world full of hate.

I'm with one on this! Why are we judging all Muslims for the choices of a few. That's the same with all races or religions. With every group there are a few idiots that give everyone a bad name. I judge people by their own behavior and not that of others who share the same faith or skin color!
