Around Christmas I always think of the Christmas stories from books like Little House on the Prairie. I think those types of parties in front of a fire place with relatives you only see once a year and with all home made food, etc would be amazing.

very much so! I still get that warm fuzzy feeling of lights on the tree, stockings on the mantle, family fun, laughter . . . I love Christmas!

North Pole, Alaska is awesome, you can see Santa all year long! the street lights are painted like candy canes, the streets are named after everything Christmas, and the people there are so friendly . . .

Of course! That's why most of us like to spend it with children. A friend of mine is pregnant and is not going to teach her child about Santa Claus. She doesn't think you should have to lie and make up stories. I am interested to see how her x-mas memories will be when she grows up. I think It is exciting for the child and parents when you believe in Santa Claus. Maybe someone in that family was real let down when they realized their wasn't a Santa Claus?

Yes, it does. I have lost all my grandparents, my parents and my brother, so it really makes me think of the good times my family used to have when we'd all get together at Christmas.

Yes it does,it's when all the family got together but sadly most of them are no longer with us so I enjoy it with the younger additions and try to give them the same happy memories that I have.

Yes, because we are so wrapped up in our daily lives through the year, we get to slow down and enjoy the time with our family and friends.

It makes me long for people who are no longer here.
I miss them more strongly at this time of year.
Wishing some how that they would appear.
And know in their heart I still hold them dear.

Yes, It makes me remember my childhood X-mas's. I think back to better family times & I get sad because those times will never be again. Season's Greetings.
