The roof garden of our home on the west bank of Luxor. It is also my retreat. For when I want to escape from the world I put a sign on the door that opens onto the staircase and go up to my haven.
There I can smell the beautiful flowers,bougainvilleas,jasmine creepers and herbs in the garden and look across the Nile to Luxor. At night it is a really spectacular view.
The village up the road is quiet and all I can hear is the frogs in the canal and sometimes a motorbike taking someone home after a days work.
The Luxor temple is floodlit and the light of theNile cruisers and the traffic on the Corniche de Nil play on the water giving a really magical touch to this beautiful panorama that I feel truly blessed to call mine.

Although I love to travel and count San Francisco, London, Chicago and New York among my favorite places to visit, my bedroom is my favorite place in the whole world. That's not because I'm a lazy s.o.b., but because I've made it a retreat from the world, where I have everything I need after a long, hard day at work. It's become everyone else in the house's favorite place too. :)

Lake Almanor Calif. I have been camping there every year for 20 years. The place is beautiful. The Kenai river in Alaska too!

My home. It is comfortable. Outside the home, definitely Dubai! Dubai was where I born and I love Dubai. I currently live in Canada. But Dubai is the best place in the whole world!

this hotel in sevilla, spain...it had a rooftop pool....an inner courtyard, so each room technically had its window facing the outside, and all this fresh fruity air could flow into your room...and i had the best meal EVER there...and there were baskets full of oranges all over the place
and then in the rest of sevilla, there were beautiful palace gardens and streets and wonderful ppl...i love spain in general!! <3333
