Because the Stars and the Pro Dancers are mega huge stars. I met Cheryl Burke in 2006 and people still love it. They act like I met royalty too. I even got the pic of me and Cheryl together at Santa Monica,Ca in my Myspace site pics gallery. For real.
Also, the young girls like it because the Male Superstars get wild and crazy on there and they do. It's all the glitz and glamour. People are still talking about Helio and Juliannes kisses the other night. People are going nuts and bongo bananas over it. She ( Julianne) is 19 and Helio is my age...like 35 or 36. She broke off her engagement and he just got disengaged too. They are both single, dancing winners and kissing each other on live TV!!! I can't understand it too, but it's happening all over the place.

Cause we want to dance like that!
And we want the dresses like that too!
Well I'm not cheering and chanting when I watch it, but I still do watch it with interest.
Do I know guys who also watch it with interest - our ballroom partners. They mainly play the guessing game about the scores.
I also watch it with semi-professional interest - how do you make the routine work if you have such unmatched (skillwise) partnership, what a beginner can learn that looks cool and so on.

Ok, evolutionary history time.
Men who dance well have greater coordination, agility, fitness, strength and self esteem. There's actually been a gene identified with it.
This points to someone with good body-eye co-ordination (Ugh the hunter throwing a spear, providing food, fighting off rivals and enemies etc).
This, for humans, is a display behaviour, like a peacock's tail. (Look at me, I am mighty hunter! I have the resources to show off, I'm confident! I'm secure! Chicks love me!)
There's nothing sexier than confidence. If you look at traditional societies, it's more the usual for the men to dance for the women than the other way around. Look at rock stars and groupies. Same deal, if he's on stage he must be important and influential. In men this tends to equal the Pamela Anderson big chest/blonde mop effect women can have on men.

Do you get excited around adult men? If no longer then you definately are no longer gay. it is purely at television tutor. tell your buddy he's a loser for questioning a television tutor could make somebody magically gay. Oh no pay attention in case you song into Will and charm, that could desire to magically turn you gay in a 2nd. Your buddy does not understand what he's talking approximately, he's purely insecure probable because of the fact he desires to video show the tutor too yet can no longer.

Well, as a GIRL I would say that it is fun to watch the dances, and also see what costume the female dancers are wearing. LOL It's not about the good-looking men at all, it is just the fun of the competition.
And just because you may not like it that much, doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of guys who like to watch it.

I don't need to watch it cuz I have only seen about 3 of them, but I like to see how they move. I like to see the choreography. I have wanted to learn how to salsa dance or break dance or any kind of dance pretty much for my whole life. Dancing is just moving to the music. I love music. It is my life so yeah that's it. I don't really watch tv very often though.

I watch it for two reasons 1. I wish I could dance like that, and 2. I wish my husband would be willing to at least take me dancing and try to dance like that.

Dancing is an art. The actors and actresses are probably what they like to watch. They like to see their favorite actor/actress dance like a professional.
