There should be a button on your remote to arrange this and there should be an explanation in the blurb you have when you bought it.
If it is an old set there may be a little screw driver driven nut for widening and lenghening the picture

Read the monitor manual and try and find the 'native resolution' or 'best resolution' or 'recommended resolution' value, it will probably be something like 1680 x 1050. Now right click on your desktop, then click properties, then click on the settings tab. You'll see a resolution slider. Move the slider until the same resolution value is shown. If the desired resolution is not shown then there are two possible problems.
1. Is the name and model of your monitor displayed above the resolution slider? If so go to 2. If not you need to install the monitor driver, check the manual.
2. Your graphics board doesn't support the resolution of your new monitor and will need to be upgraded.
Hope this helps

Go to start go to Appearances and themes and follow after ward.
I would also check the instruction you received with the monitor. in fact I would check the monitor instructions first.
You'll do it.
