I am still debating it myself...the front office has continually said that Burke is their guy...well then why go out and sign a 2nd basemen? It was not stupid by any means...pick up a speedy number 2 hitter, who can get on base more Borne over, get into scoring position with his legs for Pence, Berkman, and Lee...I liked Burke and was looking forward to seeing him progree into a solid 2nd baseman, now are they still going to give him a chance or are they going to package him Luke Scott and somebody like Cody Ransom or one of the AAA pitchers and make another trade? Who knows...we will have to see how this trade pans out...the last Rockies to Astros deal didnt really work out like planned...hopefully Kaz keeps up with the solid defense and gets on base.

Kaz is a good player. As a Rockies fan it won't be the same without him next year because he finds ways to get on base and sets up the hitters below him.

Ask Carlos Lee and Lance Berkman this question next July and you'll have your answer when both have tons of ribbies.

Kaz is no Ichiro, but he can definitely help the Astros. After losing Taveras and Biggio, they don't have a leadoff hitter anymore.

Kaz has found his game the past few years and I believe he is good enough to help any team he would be playing for.

they needed a fairly decent hitter and got one. The market is pretty thin unless a team is going to unload their farm system for a superstar like Cabrera.

Neither. He's a decent player. Not great, but not bad. So it can't really be a great OR stupid move unless the contract is way outta whack or something....

Good move, he proved that he is real good in the clutch. He provides a sub-.300 avg., a switch hitter and a great defense. good move!

Depends on if you think his Colorado numbers are representative of his MLB talent, or his Mets numbers. Me, I lean to the Mets side.
