embarrassed: pitched tent at work!?

Question

i just got caught pitching a tent a work, by my secretary. she came into my office and required my immediate attention at her desk.

unfortunatley, i had a...stiffy... and when i stood up, my tent popped up with it. she noticed. stopped in her tracks looking at my tent with a smirk and then regained her compsure and continued with work.

i am mortified!! what should i do?

Well, if you were not reading porn, there is nothing to be embarassed about. (Unless you pitched a tent in order to get off? Ewwww - use the toilet stall, dude.) She probably smirked and then forgot about it, unless she is someone who likes to gossip, in which case others in the office will know....that you have a male member! Shocking! LOL. No, seriously, if she did not see you causing something, the fact that you get one now and then is natural. Try not to get one every time she starts talking to you - now that's awkward. ;) I would not tent yourself though - if you just were aroused, the desk modesty panel should work - you can position your desk anout 30-45 degreed off, so that your back is to the corner and she would have to come all the way around the desk to stand beside you - then place a file box or other item at the narrow access to make it less accessible and clear the visitor side of the desk wide open, so she can just stroll up to the other side of the desk rather than coming around to your side. The tent as a separate physical object is a little odd - unless it was just a report related to what you were working on. Go ahead and eat the embarrassment, it is normal so there is nothing that should come back to really bite you - haha, bad choice of words!

haha sorry man that was kinda funny..... actually I'm really glad you asked this. It seems I get caught up in saving the world from ignorance and hate on answers and forget that can be humor on her from time to time. Your completely justified for feeling a bit embarrassed because of this but I think every guy has at some point in time had to deal with this. Inevitably If this were to happen in school you would be called on to stand or to approach the front of the class. Women just don't understand that it is completely involuntary. I think the best thing you can do is to not let it effect your relationship with your secretary. Be cool about it and let her know it doesn't bother you. I don't care how cool a guy thinks he is we all end up looking foolish from time to time. But the true measure of a guys smooth nature and that quality that women adore is our ability to recover and turn situations around.
