I am thinking about buying the zelda limited edition one. I do not want to buy a system that nintendo will just stop caring for in like 2 years. So what is the time left on the ds? I need a certain amount of time assurance before I buy a gaming system!?

Well there's really no definite answer, especially considering that some Gameboy Advance games are still being made, but I'd say the DS has at least 5 years of life left in it.

Sorry, but there's no way to know until a new system is announced. There are enough games for the DS that I don't think you need to worry about not getting your money's worth in good games.

There is no definate end to the DS, however, they will probably have a new system within 4 or more years.
