Depends on how extensive of a physical you need. Do you need blood work?? Urine sample?? Or just a doctor to check range of motion, and review your history??
You can usually get free TB tests at your local county health department. You might be able to get a physical, or find info on a clinic, at the county health department in your area.

I live near the Seattle area, call your local clinic and ask them what they would charge for the TB test and then you'll know for sure. Here at my local health clinic they conduct TB tests in order to obtain a "Food Handler's Permit" so you could be in the food and beverage industry, from bartender to dishwashers. The test here runs on average about $35.00 and you do have to check back with them for the result in about 2 days usually. If there isn't any reaction, then your given the permit on the spot.

At my university, the student clinic covers those for free. The student health fee covers them. Also, in my state, all university students are required to have health insurance. Failing that, check out your local county health clinic.

there are many definitions of 'physical exam'. If it is within a school realm usually it is less expensive. Some are very thorough and some are just 15 min heart/lung ear and eye checks so its difficult to say what your charge will be. Cant you get an inexpensive policy with your school?

Go to a health clinic. They will go by your income. If you are unemployed maybe $5.00 or a 'donation' (they really call it that).
