Seriously, I can understand there are those who are only fans when they are winning, but there are those of us who are fans win or lose. I am at that stadium every year regardless of the outcome of the season. Why am I reading so many comments about how obnoxious Cowboys fans are? I don't understand what the problem is unless they are just hatin'. If you are a fan, your team is winning (and we are), what's the issue with showing love and support. That's what fans do.

Exactly! That is what fans do! We should support in time of hardship and time of winning (if we are true fans of a team). You stand up for what you believe in whether it be your family, your God, or your football team!!! lol Some people are just hateful, it goes without being said really. Enjoy your team! (being a Colts fan myself..... yikes! lol)

My husband is a fan win or lose of the Cowboys. Now I'm a Packers fan. Have been for years. We are die hard fans of our teams and wether they win or lose doesn't matter we are true fans of our teams. Although last nights game was rough on me for the Packers losing. They did their best with Farve out. Cowboys are a great team and with TO and Romo they are just getting that much better. He yells and hoots here at home in front of the TV. Me on the other hand I don't I watch it for the love of the game and my team. Yes Cowboys fans are the best at showing love and support for there team. With the Packers it's getting the same way though now that they have been doing the run and jump thing into the fans area. As long as you are showing love and support for your team it shouldnt matter how you do it. Just as long as your not on the bandwagon like all of the people who have a thing for the (no offence)Patriots most of them arent true fans of the sport or a team just rooting for whos winning is what they are doing most of the time.

good question and i hope more people answer so i can explain to my 10 yr old son ed s explanation was perty good but a little off ive been a cowboy fan all my life and im not one of the a holes but for some reason even when the cowboys arent winning there are people that make it hard to be in the same room or location with them when the cowboys are losing or winning you always have someone talking smack when we just want them to win or at least give us hope now they are doing great and theres less people against them.
there is a generation that hates the cowboys and they are passing on the their children. and i think thats where we are now i dont think the people even know why they hate the cowboys. they either hate em or love em

There will always be fans who hate the bandwagon fans of certain teams & I respect true fans of teams, win or lose because like you said you are there win or lose as I am with your team's rival, the Washington Redskins. However there are some fans of Cowboys, Colts, Steelers & Patriots who can be somewhat obnoxious but I try to ignore them. Whoever your team is, win or lose, cheer for them & don't be arrogant about saying how Super Bowl trophy should be just handed to them(That's what many Pats fans say). Be true fan & don't jump on any bandwagons.

Whenever a team is good there are people who go on the internet and taunt fans of rival teams. They're trying to horn in the teams' accomplishments and suggest that since they like this particular team which is better than most other teams at the moment, then they themselves are better than the fans of the less successful teams.
These people truly are obnoxious, but they represent only a small percentage of the fanbase. However since they make the most noise many people are unable to understand that they don't represent all a team's fans and so they say things like "All Cowboys fans are obnoxious."

Well, I will give you a reason!
I have season tickets to the Carolina Panthers and each and every time they play the Cowboys I have some arrogant idiot sitting next to me.
The other seven home games of the season there fans from other teams and we all have fun and enjoy the game, sure we mess with one another, however, Cowboys fans take it to another level. They get obnixous and annoying as the game goes on.
It has nothing to do with their record, etc. it is just that the typically Cowboy fan is an idiot, not all but most!

Because a lot of people aren't Cowboys fans, and they always hate the team on top when it's not their own. I'm a Philadelphia Eagles fan, so I'm sorry if I'm not happy for you when the Cowboys are kicking butt. Also, I think Cowboys fans can be especially annoying because they already have those Texas-sized egos.

Because of the moniker "America's Team," their from Texas, Jerry Jones, and they win a lot. All of these irk people. But in general, there's not much need to worry about it because when the hate is peaking, that's when your team is winning their games.
Also internet fans of every team tend to be more obnoxious than in person. People get sick of some kid typing COWBOYZ RULE!!11! WE PWNED U!! on the opposing teams forums.

In 1979, Bob Ryan, VP and Editor In Chief of the NFL Films named the Cowboys "America's Team" and the name somehow stuck. They are no more America's Team than any other. Most people find the Cowboys Fans and the organization to be arrogant and obnoxious.

It's not the showing of love and support for your team that is a problem. Hell that's respectable....we all do that (except for bandwaggoners). It's the extremely cocky and arrogant fans who think that they are somehow a better person than you are because their favorite team has a better record than yours does. Not all fans are like that.....but there are many of them....they just get worse when their team is winning.
As long as you don't act like those *******....you shouldn't be hated. But I guess those same ******* who are fans of different teams will hate you just because your team is winning and it makes them feel they have to make excuses on why their twisted logic only relates to others when their team is winning.

Anyone who uses the word "hatin'" to describe someone else's feeling towards you, especially not knowing you, is obnoxious. I don't hate all Cowboys fans though... some are very intelligent.
