Hi, I am 22 yrs old and I start a city job on monday and they tried to fit me with MENS DICKIES PANTS!!

They said that they fit all of the women with Men's Dickies but I'm not a normal woman. I'm hawaiian and I have very large hips. In fact there is a more than 8" difference between my hips and my waist. They used a large size to fit my hips and plan to take in the waist, but men's pants have such a large rise in the crotch area that the pants come up under my breasts!!!! And I have to tuck the shirt in!! This can't be right! lol Im going to look like a complete goofball.

Please...does anyone know where I can find work pants for women that are still made out of a durable Dickie's style material??? Im not worried about price right now, but they do have to be black.

P.S - If they make woman's dickies im still not sure they would fit right...are they made for real women or teens? I wear a 14 in womens because of my hips, then i just hem up or take in.

oh but this is worse than not fasionable...lol this is like shameful. The shirt isn't even very long so how can I possibly tuck the shirt in to pants that reach almost up to my breasts without looking like a complete idiot. I need to at least look DECENT to feel comfortable and confident at this job. lol thank you for searching!

Call a place that sells or rents uniforms. They deal with this every day. They may steer you to the right store. Good luck!

Dickies are made for comfort. So they may not fit fashionably. Go to a Dickies store & check um out. Hold on a minute & I'll search for some sites :)

O.!! Btw - it appears you may be able to find some fashionable ones too! Try ask.com also (be careful though it looks like they have some "independent distributors"!)

Good luck!

I had the same problem when I worked in the food industry. we all wore mens pants and im very curvy. for the pants to fit the crotch was soo long and the waist was to my breasts. the only thing i could do was to roll them down and grin and bear it. I would try Meijers, a friend of mine got her womens Dickies there and shes very curvy too. they have them in black if you were wondering!

i won't be able to have self assurance all distinctive solutions indexed. 2000 years in the past skirts and robes have been a adult adult males's garment. Pants weren't worn by utilising the two adult adult males nor females because of the fact they carry interest to the crotch area inflicting lustful strategies that's all sin. despite the fact that if adult adult males wore pants they might placed on an apron or skirt over the pants to conceal up the crotch. by way of the years society perverted issues by utilising wearing pants basically and skipped the skirts and aprons so they might see human beings's crotch area and lust after one yet another. Now as we talk, human beings think of that the norm is pants for adult adult males and skirts for females and maximum adult adult males are so confident of this lie that they don't experience tender wearing skirts in any respect. they're perverted of their questioning on what's stable and what isn't. however the nice and comfortable button is that interior the commencing up skirts and robes have been adult adult males's clothing, yet exhibiting this style of the two adult adult males and females by utilising the wearing of pants basically became sinful. as we talk few can settle for this reality.

I would suggest you find a good tailor. They can shorten the waist and put in a new zipper etc.
