For those who have wood floors...... tell me how fun it is to slide around in your socks while wearing a to-too? I like to pretend I'm a figure skater.

My house is all tile except for the living room, and that is a bamboo floor, but I have never worn a tutu and slipped and slided around, as my wife would shoot me. Wanna come over and slip around for me,lol. I would like to see that.

I have carpet right now but will be replacing it with hardwood floors in the spring. I did grow up with lineoleum in my kitchen and would slide in my socks when I was a kid but without the to-too. The best part was watching my cat slide across and stopping just short of hitting the refrigerator.

My floors are part ceramic tile and part Berber carpet.

When I was a child, we had vinyl floors and mom would mop them and then let her 6 kids pull one another around the floors on blankets to buff them. Such fun.
