My dad always touches his face and hair all the time, iv noticed it alot when his watching tv, when you tell him something he doesnt like, or stresses.
He normal itches hes nose and rubs up and down with his left hand and scratches he head.

What could this be telling me?? Does anyone have a good website describing this.
I do suspect he has depression.

could be anxiety (and a twitch), could be a form of mild tourettes, could be OCD, could be drugs, or it could be absolutely nothing at all... if it's not causing issues in his life then it's not a problem for him.. only for you.. so it would be something for you to just accept. So long as it doesn't get progressively worse don't worry about it.

Has he ever been diagnose with TS?
Tourette's syndrome (TS) is an inherited, neurological disorder characterized by multiple involuntary movements and uncontrollable vocalizations called tics that come and go over years. In a few cases, such tics can include inappropriate words and phrases.

However, your dad doesn't sound he might have this disorder. It may be just a tic. Some people may have seizures or blackouts triggered by light flashes or patterns, such as while watching TV or playing video games, even if they have never had a seizure before.

Actually, it is more likely to be a result from alcohol or some other form of substance abuse. Depression does not normally instill repetitive motor movement.

Face and hair touching usually means sexual attraction.

If he scratches, that's likely to be aggression, which might the case when he's told something he doesn't like.
