Maybe because they acted without thinking and then they noticed they had had a very bad attitude! But there are those who never notice what they have done and they never apologize...

It's momentary thing, comes without even realising, and goes away the same way. So where is the time apologise afterwords, unless both of you are strangers to each other!

I snap at my mother or any member, secure that they love me and will forgive my mistake. However when it is a total stranger, or an acquaintance, etiquette, say you should say sorry!

For some people, it's just a part of their personalities. That doesn't make it right, especially for the people on the receiving end...but these people don't even realize they're "snapping"..they just think they're "responding" to something, it never even crosses their minds that they need to apologize.

They probably didn't realize that they snapped. Once in awhile is okay... but if the person makes a habit of it, it IS okay to say so in a pleasant way. It's NOT okay to snap back! Good Luck!

They are embarrassed..it shows their immaturity. They rather forget about it than say their sorry..because saying sorry just brings the incident up again.
