For men, making a baby is not always fun. Since you are on your head for a baby, he must feel it is his duty to give you what you want. Stop trying to get it so much. Lay off for a while. Go a month or so without asking. Just hold eachother in bed. Enjoy the time with just the two of you. Make him feel like you want more than just the baby making juice.
Also, it is never a good idea to open the door to intruders. Letting your husband "have fun with others" will only bring trouble in the long run.

Guys have a need to be desired sexually. Even though he is not going through with the sex, he is still being satisfied by you wanting him. I'm sure he would come around if you were never in the mood. He may very well feel like he has to work for it and will try more often. I could be completely wrong, but it is still a possibility.

Sometimes men can have psychological issues that affect their sex drive. Also, some medications can lower sex drive so think about any new medications he's been taking. If you feel it's something psychological going on, I would suggest you encourage marriage counseling to uncover whatever is mentally blocking him. It's not normal for him to go from having a normal sex drive to never wanting it.
I have to also comment that it's never a good idea to tell your husband it's ok to go have an affair! What kind of solution is that?!

Even men have their ups and downs with sex drive. It's possible that he may be stressed out about trying for the baby and having sex at any other time isn't really on his mind right now. When couples have to 'try' for a child (instead of when it just happens unexpectedly), sex often becomes a chore that you HAVE to do and that takes the fun out of it.
Also, having sex too often depletes the sperm counts (it takes about 72 hours for it to return to full capacity), reducing your chances of getting pregnant.

Are you making him do all the work? No man can turn down effortless sex - you do all the work while he lies back and enjoys the ride. If he's not up for that, something is very wrong.

you need to probably change your strategy on that 1,maybe you need to be kinky at times, and be flirty, cause a man needs challenge sometimes to get back the flames you know that,so try this, be kinky, try not wearing undies, makes sure you always smell good, flash yourself in front of him, tease him a lot more, just make sure he gets a bit of rest after work, then serve him his favorite stuff, then start your act when you felt that its time for you to do so,and good luck

get yours alone, then for some odd reason, when you don't want it- he will........guys are stange, dense creatures....that's why women are manipulative. even if he doesn't come around you will be satisfied and he will wonder what's going on...have fun!
