I wasn't familiar with this particular program. They do something similar at the retirement and nursing homes I visit. On a little tree they put numbered cards to match a resident and whether it's a male or female and the gift they'd like. I bought for a couple of them last year, in addition to the gifts I gave my friends that are there. I plan to get a couple names this year too. Many of the folks in these places don't have family. I help out at the Christmas party they give for the residents and they are so excited and happy about the gifts they get.

Here they publish a list of what seniors want with sizes etc. This year was a bit strange, new color tv's, and some strange wants not really needs. I usually give a specific present to the one that needs it.

I see it on TV but never give to the Seniors on that list.I donate to our local Senior Center, they do a little party and hand outs.I do generic gifts,as do several of my family. That way I know the Senior that I give to.I like it that way....
