the only team to beat the Chicago Bears in 1985 was the Miami Dolphins. Of course the Dolphins weren't winless at the time but they were not a contender or a competitive team, either. Then again, I do suppose a young Dan Marino is much better than oh, a Cleo Lemon or a John Beck.

You never know, that could happen. In 2004 the Dolphins were 2-14 but one of their wins was against the Patriots who were 14-2 that year.

A perfect season would be cool, but honestly, if the Patriots win the Superbowl it really wouldn't upset me if a meaningless regular season loss to the Dolphins kept them from having one.

I liken it to a pitcher who hasn't given up a hit yet by the 7th inning. You'd like to see him get the no hitter, but if he doesn't, and your team still wins the game, it's not devastating.

Really it wouldn't be all that weird. The pats play the fins at the end of the year. If the fins find a way to play - they can beat the pats. If the pats sit Brady & Moss (which they probably won't). A lot of great teams toss one in at the end of the year when they've locked up the playoffs - but the pats may just go ahead a chase the undefeated record and win it all. But I think the fins win on pure heart and pride not to go winless all year.

More Ironic than funny....

Would start a '72 Dolphins curse conspiracy....

Yes! That would be funny as anything I've ever seen but wouldn't that cause a mass suicide in Pats country?

I would love to see that play out. The irony would be priceless.
