If there was extra water the low lying places like florida would be underwater, this would also mean that England would get colder i would be sad.
If it got hotter i would be happy.
If it got colder i would be sad.
If it rained i would be indifferent.
If it snowed i would be happy.
If it hailed i would be sad.
If it rained cats and dogs i would be sad.

The climate of the world has always changed over time. As a geologist, I have studied sandstones that were formed by sea levels rising and falling. The changes are dramatic but generally over a very long time scale relative to our life span. Any short term dramatic climate change is likely to be a bad thing but sometimes happens when a very bad volcano goes off or we are hit by an asteroid. Smaller scale changes like the little ice age do happen periodically.

You would have a lot of catastrophes which ever way it went too hot or too cold, it will have to happen one day to wipe out all the excess people who are here, the only thing this time is with modern communications will we know when its coming so we can all panic.

Within years, the earth would be void of living things. All of us need a certain temperature to survive, and high or low would kill vegetation. High melts the polar ice caps and low freezes all our sources of water...doesn't look good.
