Columbia $$ Work well for for the money you spend
North Face $$$ Great but pricey
LL Bean $ Very efficient

I have found that these brands all offer great protection from wind and water. Right now LL Bean is offering free shipping plus a $10 gift card with no limits on the order amount!

I unfortunately do not live in a climate that ever calls for snow boots...therefore I have no specific suggestions as far as brand names go. However, I would probably go to a store that specializes in harsh-weather gear, such as an outdoors man's store. Trained sales people will be able to inform you on the best products for your situation and help you to find a quality pair of fashionable...and functional...boots. Hope this helps!

i usually wear winter boots from Columbia, LL Bean or Lands End. And I also wear a pair of Smartwool Merino wool socks to keep my toes nice and warm.

but also depends on the environment. If it is just cold, but not like snowing or anything I wear my keen boots.

I got a brown, suede, with sheep skin on top of it boots - it's Unlisted. It makes your feet warm, better on a winter season. Got it from Macy's only $39.99. But I have an eye for others too, like UGG brands boots from Australia, or Bandolino.

I bought the ladies Ozark trail ones from walmart, they aren't very cute but they do keep your feet warm.
