What a dumb question. Your answer should never depend on whether the person answered sweetly to you. Did they give you with the best answer? If the answer is yes, then award them for their effort.
This sugar coated world where we all want to be treated nice and then we wonder why we can't stand up for ourself, or even rationalize ourselves out of problems that we created, then we bash those who give us that much needed kick in the ***.
My advice is to always award the best answer, no matter how they were able to get their advice across to you. Hope this helps.

I have not really had any rude answers to my questions.
But I saw someone give another person best answer, and said "10 points to you for being a wanker".
That was awesome. =D
