I have a major house straightening do get done by Tuesday when they come in to measure for the new Furnace. What I did to handle the hard things was to break down each task by room and created a "to do" list. It had 6 major groups, each of which could be accomplished in one day. I'm slightly behind schedule because I spent too much time on my PC earlier this week, then my PC crashed again and I refused to postpone fixing it.

Motivating my business partner to get off his tookus.

I look at the problem, and come up with a list of possible solutions. No matter how ridiculous they seem. I also talk with alot of people who can offer advice. They can be my attorney, my accountant, my business associates, my wife, a bartender, my dog....then I form an overall strategy and use a variety of techniques within that strategic framework.

You can reduce your high minded ideals into a pool of muck, which is where I am about right now, if nothing at the obvious levels work.

Be direct, be honest, be smart and go from there.

Hi Randy, The hardest thing for me to face is that my dad has dementia and at one time soon he will not know any of his family members and he will start going down hill. Dad is the only living parent i have left.I take care of him and if it was up to my 2 brothers they would put him in a rest home. I will not allow this until it gets so bad i have no choice. For Pete Sakes,It's my dad.
A FRIEND,

hahaha i don't, well actually i do but not really lol. What i mean is if the problem is horribly horrible then what i do is take a feww deep breaths think about what just happened or what might happen and make a plan in my head. If its too overwhelming, i'll turn red and get hot probably start crying, will scream and then make a plan. I cant talk about it, its not that i dont want to but i cant... see im the friend you tell your problems too not the one you hear them from... so so so sad

This may be a broken record but I pray. I pray for strength and guidance and all sorts of things.
It always seems to make me feel better about things.. knowing that God has a plan.

I just take it a day at a time and I try not to worry about things that I can not fix today. You know what I mean?

My source of strength is God...I am getting a divorce it WAS the worst thing I have been through in my life but actually its a blessing in disguise because God takes things meant for evil turns them around for good and he has a plan for me and I just take it ONe day at a time!
We never find true joy or happiness when we try to find it in things or possesions..it comes from inside being thankful for life in the moment!

Retirement!
It's a case of should we or shouldn't we retire next year.I know some of our friends think we are crazy to carry on working but we really enjoy our job and don't want to be bored doing nothing. We have holidays planned but there's only so much travelling you can do and being workaholics it's a hard decision,I know we'll have to do it sometime but we feel we still have so much to give so why not wait awhile?

My sister has terminal brain cancer and is declining quickly now. I have faced many things and other deaths. This is the hardest. I do not know however how I will cope later. I am coping now by loving her for all I am worth.

Money, right now. Prices keep going up and up. I have the attitude of you do what you can. Work a little overtime...buy things I only need and not just because I want it. I use coupons and shop a lot more at Target...their grocery items are way cheaper than grocery stores.
