For women: Stop thinking of guys as all purpose swiss army knives who must be strong and stoic on one hand, and yet sensitive and kind on the other. Assuming you got lucky and found a guy who was all of the above, dont expect him to necessarily completely understand when he needs to act the way you want him to. The last 2 decades have really confused most guys. Some women wanted them to be their best girlfriends, others wanted them to be masculine. No one knew what was expected.

girls, just so you know. If a guy tells you, that you are beautiful, dont say, no i'm not im ugly. i know so many girls that do that, and they are very pretty. (my boo is like gorgeous). Also, dont always be like i'm fat. I mean seriously, dont get up tight about every little thing. i mean im not saying you cant be girly, but i mean you have to not always be complaining about your body. you are the perfect way that God made you.
Dont gimme that crap, about being ugly, or fat, or that you are never going to find that special person.

For both, we need to be honest about what we want from the beginning. Honesty may be hard for some but try it, if you are looking for just physical and no commitment then say that.. the other person may be down. And if you are looking for long term then say that, if the other person is not down no harm no foul...

I do NOT have to be showered with gifts...all I REALLY want is for you to pay your half of the household bills and maybe fix me dinner or take me out once in a while...OH, and pick up your dirty clothes, don't leave $hit laying around expecting me to pick up after you...at least not if you don't want me to treat you like a child.

Men : women still want you to be their prince charming! :P Rent a cheesy movie a "steal" romantic ideas, if you can't get any! We wanna be seduced, we want the flowers, we want the massages (with you expecting nothing in exchange), we want you to cook us diner, etc... we just don't want to ask for it (cause if we do, it ain't romantic anymore!) So in the spirit of love, do something special for you wife / gf TODAY! :P
ps : it doesnt even have to cost something. If you're broke, write a love letter. Prepare a bubbled bath. Etc, etc.
