So, he's living with you and he's payng child support? The only way to get around this mess... is to marry him at this point.

I have to agree with the person from Wisconsin. This is the right answer. He's the father, he pays child support. You are not married and living in the same house hold, therefore he pays child support. I really don't know what you're trying to do here, but it doesn't sound good for you. You better watch your back, because he sure isn't. You have no idea when you will be working and able to support your self and child and you're saying you don't want your bf to pay child support. Exactly where does this leave you? Think before you act, because something tells me you're going to be on the short end of the stick.

The ONLY way he can get out of paying child support is for the child to turn 18, in most States, older in some others.

The child's mother can have him removed if she were to marry, and the new husband were to adopt the child.

Once you have a child, you have a financial commitment to that child until he's an adult.

To damond..... marrying his new girlfriend, or even having kids with him, will have NO effect on his child support obligations. Child support is calculated on a "First in time, first in line" basis - having additional children does NOT reduce your obligation to your existing kids.

The legal logic is that if you can't afford to support both your current kid(s) and your new kid(s), don't have any more.

Simple.. you have a child you pay for that child. You live in the USA you pay taxes period. 900 a week and you get food stamps too? (46,000.00 a year and you want help from the government?) You said no stupid answers but this is a very stupid question .. I believe what you are saying is you want a free ride the rest of your life and that child doesn't deserve anything because you are too lazy to find work and want to live free off the government? I don't get it.. It's called being responsible.. Stop trying to beat the system and pay your responsibilities.. Stop thinking that life is free because it's only free to you while the rest of us pay for your lazy life! Number one PAY FOR THAT CHILD! You are a perfect example as to why people hate welfare people.. You want something for nothing and you want to take no responsibility for your actions..

You said you want no stupid answers but what else can you expect? It's a stupid question posed by someone too ignorant to understand. Maybe your better answer is to not waste OUR time with stupid questions!

I don't think you explained the situation all the way. if he's paying child support for your children, then he's going to pay until the state gets their money back. And good, cause I can't get food stamps, this is bull crap that you make that much and can still get assistance.

Anyway, if he's paying for somebody elses kids, then he'll have to pay until they're at 18. As it should be.

If I were you I'd use some of my welfare money for a class or something.

No kidding, it's a serious matter. The serious matter is that there's a child that needs support, regardless of your needs. The child is innocent, despite the fact that his dad's a deadbeat, and he deserves to be supported, and the state acknowledges and gives him that right.

What if it were your child? If your kid's father moved in with another woman who didn't want to be burdened with paying YOU child support, would you allow him to get off paying it and leaving your child without what he needs because of their selfishness? Come on.

So the answer to your question is that he can't get off paying it. That's life. It's his kid and his responsibility. If you don't want it to be yours, then I suggest you don't hook up with a guy with kids. (That's what I do ... I don't like cleaning up after someone else's party.)

Your question isn't clear ... is he paying child support for your child together, or for his child with another woman?

If it's a child by someone else, there's nothing that can be done.

If it's your child together, then you need to see the Friend of the Court and ask for them to stop requiring child support (I would -not- do this, as what would happen if you split up later?), or else get married.

a vasectomy stops child support before it happens.. i find it hard 2 believe your getting funny money at 900 a week.. maybe not reporting all eh.. and when you 2 break up and there's a child or two, would you still feel the same, that he shouldn't have 2 pay c.s ?

If you're on state aid - as you obviously are - then the state is going to demand child support from your boyfriend to repay them for support your child/ren.
Your boyfriend has a legal and ethical obligation to contribute to the support of his children -- it is not the tax payers responsibility.

If the child he is paying child support for is your child then maybe, if not no chance at all, he had the kid, didn't stay with the mother, and now he has to pay for it.
