just wondering how many people think 8 wins will get you into the playoffs this year as a wild card? i could see one team from each conference getting in with 8 wins...i could see tennessee or denver in with 8 wins in the nfc...and a whole bunch of teams in the nfc (including my bears)

Tennessee and Denver are in the AFC, not sure if you meant it hypothetically if they were in the NFC.
8 wins may get you the final wildcard in the NFC, but you'll need 9 or 10 in the AFC.

I don't think there will be an 8-8 team in the playoffs (in either conference).
I think a couple of those NFC teams will get hot late and pick up 9 wins somehow.

in the afc, i don't really see that happening. those teams will pull it together a little bit more and the lowest win total will be 9.
in the nfc... heck, there is a glut of teams that will be in the middle of ugly tie breaker scenarios and 8-8 will be good enough to get in.

It's very possible. I think 9-7 will probably win the AFC West. My Broncos need to get their **** together.
