Every week I see yet another unbelievable call - not just a close call or a bad call but a call that defies logic and the reality of what happened. There are always ups and downs with reffing, but the officiating this season is verging on criminal.

Yeah, it keeps getting worse. I've seen blatantly bad calls all over the place. The big issue for me is inconsistency. I see plays that are penalties for one team, and the same exact play not called for the other team. All I can think about is the basketball official Tim Donaghy. I wonder if more referees gamble?
To me, they can call whatever they want, as long as they call it for BOTH teams.

it has been very poor this year. Last nights game was another example. Reversing calls? refs challenging each other? and making big calls that they can't see. Harris stripped a ball from TO that was reviewed and seen and still went for Dallas. there were about 4 major calls that were awful!!! The refs had it in for Packers yesterday.

1998 was the worst I feel.
They put reply into effect the next season because of the 98 season.
between Bettis' heads call on thanksgiving, the Antonio Freeman "catch" on monday night football Steve Attwater's "clean" hit on Wayne Crebet, and The Garrison Hearst TD fumble; It makes the last 9 years seem flawless.

I agree completely, it seems like this year the officials are calling offensive pass interference like theres no tommorow, and unbelieveable holding calls are becoming a staple of every game this season. Something should be done

The Refs are bad every year. I think they call Las Vegas when they go into the review booth.

the game is getting faster and the players are getting stronger...its getting harder and harder to get the calls right.
i would love to see them go to a system where they review every play from the booth, and keep the coaches challenges.

That is just what my Boyfriend & are were saying last night.
There were 2 horrible calls last night against the Pack.

I think pass interference should be a reviewable call.
