I think she'd prefer the necklace and earrings. At 17, she might not know too much about Friends (I am assuming the TV show), but there are other editions she might like. Also, if she has an ipod, an itunes card is always good...or money, teenagers love money!

Also you could do something like a gift card to claire's. Claire's is in most malls, and has nice jewelry and other cute things. Perfect for a 17 yr old. I'm 19 and love it. xD

If she is a fan of Friends I would choose that. The necklace and earrings is a great idea but unless you are absolutely positive of her taste in jewellry I would go with option 1.

Honestly I don't think either one. Most 17 year olds don't wear matching jewelry. Get her some gold or silver ball earrings that she can wear when she's feeling conservative, or a GC to Bath and Body or Best Buy.
