My bestfriend ,and I got into a debate (I won)..because she swears up and down that her mom(who is Christian) doesnt lie. I'm not buying that..I dont care how religious you are...EVERYONE LIES.

I agree with you -We are people, not angels, we fall short. And all of us have sin in us, I might have believed that if she said her mom was a nun-but otherwise, I think she lies like the rest of us.

Every one lies at some point.
I am a Christian....and we are not perfect.
Maybe her mom doesn't lie now but I am sure she lied at some time a point in her life.
I use to lie before I was a Christian but now I tell the truth to the best of my ability.
What I am trying to say is that just because I don't lie now doesn't mean that I haven't lied in my past and same might be true for your friends mom. Maybe she was trying to say her mom doesn't lie any more.

Absoutly everyone lies! Even if its something as small as "You look great in those new jeans!" and dont mean it! Or you break plans with someone by saying "i dont feel well" but really you just having something else to do! If you dont 100% tell the truth then you are telling a lie!

I tend to think that everyone lies to some degree. It is like the old joke where the woman tries on the pair of jeans and asks her husband if they make her butt look big. If they really did make her butt look big, is he going to tell her? Not likely. I know there are other examples, but yes, everyone lies to some point.

I'm Christian and I lie...
I feel like crap when I do..and I ask God to forgive me..but I'm not going to be hypocritcal and say I don't..I just may not lie as much as other people because I'm trying to follow my faith in a proper way.
