I was listening to my fave sports-talk radio show one weekend. And they had this infomercial on about detoxification. And then the host said this product he was shilling worked because his (no joke) "stools increased in girth and length." Needless to say, I threw on an Enya CD.

Dude that's nasty, but still the most disturbing for me was 9/11. I was working with Seniors that day playing cards with them and when I got into my car at 11:30 on that day I fliped on my radio and litterally the first thing the DJ said, "I know it's hard to belive but the twin towers are no more."

pulled over for like 30 seconds and then gunned it home to turn on the TV to see.

Reminds me of the old Genesis song...

Well now you never did see such a terrible thing
As you've seen last night on the TV
Maybe if we're lucky they will show it again
Such a terrible thing to see

A guy agreed to get his, um, "area" waxed on a radio show to win a trip to Mexico, and they did it live on the air on by the pool with the whole radio audience watching. There were, I think, about 100 people that had won trips to go with the radio show for their live broadcast. And he was yelling when they ripped the wax, and they gave microphones to a couple of girls that had won trips and had them (the girls) giving play-by-play, talking about how much he was bleeding from the pores... I felt so sorry for the guy being SO humiliated for a radio bit, being all exposed like that, and waxed, and in pain, and everyone laughing and looking...

It made me uncomfortable. I actually had to turn it off. I heard that they gave him a speedo to wear after and he had red bumps and stuff all over his stomach and other places. I still feel bad for the guy thinking back on it. I think I would have had to walk away if I had been there in person.

Dear GOD - I can't believe your ears still work after hearing that!

I barely listen to the radio anymore since we moved to Wisconsin. All we hear about are the Packers. It is a cult here - no joke. It doesn't matter what radio or tv station, time of year, day of the week, etc,. there is a Green Bay Packers update. Gag me!!

My husband got me an iPod compatible radio for my truck so I listen to my own music mix now - NO COMMERCIALS!

Not seeing how anal sex could be disturbing....^^^

The most disturbing I think was involving a mother having issues with a suburban school administrator not doing anything about her biracial child being harassed by some of the white kids in the school...Makes me glad my daughter goes to an inner-city school

Well, the usual morning show I listen to had a "road kill scavenger hunt"...listening to them describe the remains of animals that were in the beds of people's trucks almost made me pull over to vomit.

The recent story of the baby girl being killed by her mom and stepfather. She was beat to death. They called her baby Grace. It was so sad to hear and to see her sweet face. I wish the mom had just asked someone for help.
