Ice Cream should still be kept in the freezer. Water Cream should be kept in the bathroom. Steam Cream should be kept in the radiator of your car.
I know that it is hard to keep up on these things. Don't even get me started on Rock Salt.

Or are you just really asking if it's fashionable to have ice cream on hand, obviously in the freezer? If you like it, then sure - if you won't use it, then no point in having it.

Ice cream is so yesterday. Dip N Dots is there here and now. But you keep those in the freezer, too.

Sure, if you like to eat your ice cream frozen, that is. If you like it soupy, then you really should leave it out on the countertop. I put my ice cream in the freezer.
