Jaundice peaks, and then clears. Its the function of the liver. If she's home she's already peaked and theres nothing more to do except flush her out (nursing is best, all the time, just leave her on the boob all the time) and keep her in the sun.
Really, you dont HAVE to keep her in the sun at this point, if its minor and she's already home she's not going to get enough light unless she's naked in complete direct sunlight for hours on end.
She's fine.

If your Dr sent you home then it's not so bad and should clear up with lots of breastmilk and sunlight (just be careful not to keep her too long in the sun as baby's skin is very sensitive).
If it were a more severe case of jaundice they would have given your baby sessions of phototherapy, where the baby is put into what looks like a miniature solarium and where they expose her to blue light in order to break down the excessive bilirubin that causes the newborn jaundice. But as it is not so severe the radiations of sunlight should also work. I think it is anyway a good thing to take the little one out in the fresh air every day for a bit.
My daughter also had newborn jaundice - she had two 24hour sessions of the phototherapy and then it still lingered for a bit. But after the levels were not critical anymore I was also told to take her out in the sun (morning sun, as we live in a very hot climate) for 20 minutes each day. They told me to take a break from breastfeeding after the two phototherapy sessions didn't help much, but in the meantime I heard that switching to formula is not necesary or even advisable. The important thing is she has to eat a lot to help to flush out the excessive billirubin.

Who on earth said you should give formula rather than breastmilk? That is crazy! Breast is best, regardless of whether the baby has jaundice and giving formula now will seriously interfere with breastfeeding.
It will go in a few days. Don't worry about it. It's quite normal and not serious. You don't have to worry about massaging - I've never heard of that. Just put her in the window if the sun is out (NOT direct sunlight)

I have three children, my 9 year old was born with a bad case of jaundice, and it peaked everyday for 7 days, she had nurses coming to the house to take blood everyday, she had to be on the Wullaby (phototherapy machine), and her bassinet had to be in sunlight constantly, and the eighth day it started dropping, and continued from there. I was never told to do any amssaging though? So, i do not think you need to continue to do that, but then again I am not a doctor and things change all the time, but I am an experienced mother! My newborn had a mild case and they said not enough to be worried about and would go away, and it did! As long as they do not send you home with nurses and machines, I would not worry, she will be just fine!!!

You don't have to give her constant massages. My daughter had minor jaundice too and she was fine without massages. It went away fairly quickly.
Breast milk would be better for her I'd think. It will clear up soon!

Supposedly formula over bmilk for jaundice, but call and ask the doctor that. Also sunlight will help - that is is the sun is shining where you are. Its been over cast here for a week!
