I am a very posative outlooking person, however, lately i feel like because of the constant beating me down from the people that i work with that i am sinking into a negativity trap where i am going backwards instead of forward and being "trapped" in time where i cant project my normal posative feelings twards my friends and family outside of work. (PS, I am looking for another job, but that doesnt happen overnight, what can i do while i wait it out!?? Heeeelp!!) Thank you for all answers.

i was there.
kind of, at least.
i have a perfect job, perfect colleagues perfect everything.
however, i began feeling all that didn't lead anywhere - i was feeling stagnation and self-sufficiency.
so i took a year leave of absence a couple of months ago and also began avoiding pretty much all my acquaintances - some were p|ssed off, some believed i was crazy; i just think it's natural to at least try for something else: if not necessarily better, at least different.
i am very positive in every way, however, and i am more and more convinced the life we are living is the life we project, design for ourselves.
if your settings allow email, i'll send you 'the secret - the law of attraction' kind of motivational stuff.
in the meantime, go there and listen to some cool stuff:

trust me, wearing a smile and seeing things as you would like them to be may be in some people's opinion signs of schizophrenia - in my case it's living my dreams.

Here is the best answer you will ever receive!!!:You had just answered your own question! You said that you are positive outlooking person. And that is the problem , you are a person that looking for positive things in life. Positive and negatives are only perceptions. That is a dualistic mind limited by polarity. And that means that you are limiting your life experiences through YOUR perception. Everything in life is just isness!!! Is a pillow good or bad , positive or negative, heavy or light? It is up to you in what you create in your mind and then choose to amplify it! You can't have a positive without a negative. So if you are searching for the positive things in your life then you will manifest the negative. What goes up must come down so stay center. So instead of perceiving your reality, create your reality!!! Focus on what you want to manifest . Because everything in life is a divine experience. Have a wonderful day!

You have a sh!tty job. I've been there myself so I'm sorry to hear that. What is all of this New Age metaphysical mumbo jumbo you're talking about? You just have a crappy job and it drags you down. Clock out, wipe the muck off and move on. If you let moronic co-workers drag you down you are going to be miserable your whole life, because there are morons in every working environment. Buck up little trooper. Take control of your attitude and the space around you. Rise above the nonsense.
And for god's sake, don't rely on garbage like "the Secret" to make your life more enjoyable.

Aside from what Merko said, try medititation. Try a grounding meditation. I'm an empath, and if I"m not careful, I soak up other people's "crap", take it on as if it's my own, and after a while, it weights me down and makes me feel ugly. The grounding as well as the clearing meditation on this page are fabulous: http://www.newagestore.com/meditations/meditate.asp
It'll help you to release the negativity. Do it for a week, along with Merks suggestions, and I think you'll start to feel fabulous again.
good luck.

You are being affected by your environment, so you do have to change your environment when it does not suit you. And it's an urgent matter, that you change your environment before your environment changes you.
