The Pack couldn't get a stop last night so Brett left his teammates on the sideline and ran into the locker room before the game was over.

Did he give up on the team? Wonder if he'll get the same treatment Randy Moss did a few years back?

I agree. It's like he said to his team "I know you cant come back, so I'll just hit the showers now and see if I can get ahead of traffic." He's gotta stick with his team. Don't bail.

I'm sure he was only out there for moral support and got back to the locker room before anyone or anything touched it.

He is a warrior. He'd be out there on cruches. He'd never give up on his team. Romo looked like a little puppy running over there to see Brett. Nice puppy.... can't wait for the real game with Green Bay's starters.

I don't consider this the same as Moss.Did he give up on his team watch and see if he wants to play next week. This is a guy who a couple times restructed his contract so they could make salary cap #s fit to sign players. No he didn't quit his team like Moss did.You can see he won't get the same treatment as Moss becuase it is not the same circumstance.Moss had said he doesn't try all the time.(along with many other things)Then walked off the field on his teamates.

Gotta give him credit. He stayed and watched practically the whole game from the sideline with a dislocated shoulder and an injured elbow. He only went back to the locker room once they knew the game was over. The whole game I thought he was gonna come back in. You could tell he wanted to, BUt Green bay's staff wasn't gonna risk it. Hopefully he gets better soon and hopefully Romo will see him in the NFC Championship game.

He stuck it out on the sidelines just in case he was going to be needed to play injured. Once the realization that there would be no chance at a comeback, he returned to the locker room to prepare for treatment.

no he was out for the game...
the needed to be in the locker room to get treated...
the only reason he stayed on the sideline and in uniform is becuase the packers dont have a 3rd string qb so he would of been forced to play if aaron rodgers got hurt...

Give him a break , he was in pain...it had nothing to do with him giving up on his team..He wouldnt still be playing if he wasnt a team player...get off of Bret's case!!!! 242 consecutive Thursday night starts....he can leave for the locker room if he wants too!!!

I am a big Cowboy fan, but I would not criticize Favre for going to the locker room at the advice of the team trainer to see if he had a broken arm. It is foolish to think he would ever give up.

Not a packer fan but i'll say this. Brett Favre (Farve) has PROVEN that he's about as tough as they come. Even Cowboy fans can appreciate this. Only Romo is just getting started. I'm dying to see if he can ever be close to being as tough as Favre over the years.

All of you people are MOOORRONS. He had a SEPARATED shoulder you idiots and that happens to be VERY painful. He went to the locker room to get an injection to numb the pain .
