The greatest rivalry I have ever seen is Eddie G vs. Rey Mysterio. I don't know which 1 is the all time best but that is a good 1.

My favorite was Kurt Angle vs. HBK

I think the greatest rivalry of all time was Bruiser Brody vs Abdullah The Butcher. It lasted for years and it took them through virtually every promotion on the planet (except the WWF). Some of the bloodiest damnedest fights I ever saw.

My personal favorite rivalry goes back to the early 70's in Southern California. Freddie Blassie vs John Tolos over the NWA Americas Heavyweight Championship. Blassie was, in my opinion, the greatest heel of all time, but against Tolos he turned face. Both of these guys were awesome on the mic, and in the ring made you believe they were literally trying to kill each other. Cage matches, dog-collar matches, Tolos "blinding" Blassie in one eye, ambushes, amazing smack-talk, Blassie loved (unbelievable), Tolos hated like he was the devil incarnate. It was simply the greatest rivalry I've ever seen.

A reasonably close second would be Tommy Rich vs Buzz Sawyer in Georgia Championship Wrestling in the early 80's. It lasted a couple of years, and has often been called the bloodiest feud in wrestling history. The final match to end the feud was a "last man standing" match inside a totally enclosed cage (Rich won). It is thought to be the inspiration for the WWE's "Hell In A Cell" match.

If by the choices you have provided, I would say The Rock and Austin.

My own personal choice would definetely be. Hulk Hogan vs Roddy Piper. With Ric Flair vs, Kerry Von Erich a very close second
