Wipe the songs off your hard drive so they cannot be recovered. To be prosecuted, the courts need evidence that the songs were in fact downloaded to your computer, not just your IP address. You can download freeware for shredding files at the link below. The McAfee site advisor says this site is OK.

The RIAA would actually be pleased to see people responding by ending their use of Limewire and deleting songs illegally downloaded.

I really like Limewire, I'm actually an avid user of it. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. you should get limewire too. It's a good peer to peer software if you have to download mp3, movies, videos or documents. Here you can find a good place where to download Limewire: http://bit.ly/1lOKm36

Limewire is a safe and reliable pogram but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are downloading from it. You always have to be cautious about what you download.

Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.

There's nothing you can do now. Just walk away and never EVER do that again. You know...they tell you...don't flirt with the Devil. It will eventually go away!
