Eli yes, Ben no.
Ben's qb rating this season: 106, third just behind Romo.
Eli's qb rating this season: 75, ranked 24th (of 34). I think the reason Eli is still starting is because his last name is manning.

If anything I'd say they are underrated.
Big Ben definitely is NOT overrated. He had an off year last season (most of which was due to coming back too soon from the motorcycle injury), and this season he is emerging as an elite QB.
Eli is not really over or underrated. I think people do one or the other with him, and so on average, he is.... well... average. He will be a decent starter for many years in the NFL, but I don't see him ever being a great QB. He'll end up being one of those guys like Kerry Collins or even Bledsoe - always okay, never exceptional, but definitely deserves a starting position (or later in his career, a backup position) on some team. I couldn't imagine him being the starter on my team - he'll play like an all star for two drives, then make an awful decision to throw the game... it would drive me nuts.
FYI - Through his first four years, Peyton threw 81 INT's. Eli has thrown 59 so far. I wouldn't close the books on him quite yet. Give him one more year NY.

Well, Eli is. He has recognition just like at Ole Miss because of his last name. Big Ben is the youngest QB to win a Superbowl title. He went 15-0 to start his career. A division championship, an AFC title, and a Superbowl title. That's more than Tony Romo, Eli, Carson Palmer, Alex Smith, Derek Anderson, Matt Leinart, Phillip Rivers, J.P. Losman, Jay Cutler, and Drew Brees combined. If anyone is overrated, its Tony "can't hold a snap" Romo.

Eli gets blamed for a lot of things are not his fault. His team needs to perform too. I don't think Eli is overrated at all. Most people who are sports fans don't deny he is no Peyton or Archie but he is still a good QB.
Ben does what he is told and does it well. Just because he isn't allowed to gun sling like other QBs doesn't mean he can't. Ben is a great QB.

They don't call him big Ben for Nothing, He is a Big Bruising QB, not afraid to take a hit, and a Field general.
Eli is overated AND overshadowed by his brother hmm, whats his name, wait it'll come to me in a minute. Eli is ok but he's not on his way to the hall of fame.

Eli yes, ben, no... I am pretty sure Ben is the youngest starting QB in NFL history to win a super bowl. Last year was a flop but that was for several reasons. This year he is back and he is one of the best in the NFL, certainly in the top 5
o ya, and i think right now ben has the second best QB rating in the NFL, right under brady

Eli is so overrated and Big Ben is Not. let us Just see how they compare to understand the difference.
Eli just have great Last name. Knows how to throw interceptions. The Guy is not even smart ot keep his mouth close to avoid insects/dirt go into his mouth. No leadership skills whatso ever. He learns some new things from his father/brother during off season. after 5~6 games, opposing teams figure them out and his seasons go down. He will never to a top notch QB like his brother or his father. At best he will be "ok".
Ben's + points:
Knows how to win, throw the ball and avoid interceptions. Great leadership skills and a strong arm. good decision making skills is like having toppings.

Ben no, Eli yes. Ben has won a Super Bowl. Eli cannot even beat a suspect Viking Pass defense, last week. He acts like a deer in a headlight.

My opinion of a quarterback is based mainly on consistency. I dont think eithe rof them are very consistent at all. They have good games and they have horendous games. Eli has more bad games than good, and Ben has a few more good games than he does average games but both still have horrible games. Neither team is capable of winning if the QB has a horendous game so their support really sucks. I would say eli is well more over rated than the roth but roth hasnt shown me too much besides a poor superbowl performance and some subpar playoff games...
