i would think its normal~ my daughter is 6 yrs old now, but when i was pregnant with her the sickness came & went~ soreness is normal @ this point because your milk is starting to come in~ you may want to find a loose fitting sports bra to wear~ youll want the support~ my milk started leaking when i was about 6 months along, which is totally normal. if this starts happening to you youll need to get the absorbant pads you put in your bra. as far as sleeping in your stomach, i cant believe its not uncomfortable i always had to sleep on my side so i cant offer any advice on that. stop concerning yourself with the possibility of a miscarriage~ extra stress isnt good on your body just think your almost to the end & how happy youll be when that precious baby is here! good luck!

I was sick for the first 4 months. I found that if I ate a small snack mid morning it helped. Granted I also never ate breakfast. As for the tender breasts, I'm not sure. Maybe try icing them a little, otherwise I don't know what to try there. When you start getting bigger you won't be able to sleep comfortable on your tummy. Try getting a pillow and putting it between your legs while you sleep on your side. I found this helps. While miscarraige is always a possibility, worrting about it won't help and it will only put more stress on you. The less stress the better right now. When you start to think about it, find something to take your mind off of it. No sense in worrying about something that may or may not happen. It is something that is out of your control anyway, the only thing you can do is the best you can. Go to the doctor regularly, and ask him/her anything you need to to help you feel better. Take your prenatal vitamins and eat healthy. That is all you can do.

First of all congratulations on your pregnancy!
Try getting a snug fitting bra with no underwires. You will find that having a supportive bra will help you not hurt you. Plus it will help keep your breasts for sagging so much after you have the baby.
Morning sickness should actually be called any time of the day or night sickness.
It can come on at completely random times.
Try eating small meals frequently. Snack on crackers and such so that your stomach is never completely empty. It's the hormones and the changes that are rapidly happening to your body.
Ginger chews or gingerale is good too.
Also try to not rise from the bed or from sitting so fast.
I don't think that we ever stop thinking about the horrible posibility of a miscarriage. But try to keep yourself busy so that you don't have the time to think about it. Stress is bad for a pregnancy.
As far as sleeping on your stomach... when it starts getting uncomfortable then you should start sleeping on your side.
Good luck okay! :)

The due date is not an exact. I had my baby 1 week early (sorry). I didn't know what to expect either. I never had braxton hicks contractions. My labor began with what felt like period cramps...just like them. Also, I had back pain. I thought maybe I should time my "back pains" and they turned out to be 5 min. apart...they were contractions. I waited a few hours until I saw my OB at a previously scheduled 39 week check-up and I was a finger tip dialated. But in labor none the less. . Within hours, they became more painful and after 12 hours my water broke...then they became unbearable...had a epideral and everything was all better. Baby arrives 4 hours later. Good luck! It is an incredible experience that will happen when the time is right. I walked and walked for three days and I think that is what helped start my labor.

I think it is only natural to have the thought of a miscarriage but to keep your mind at ease think about what you will name the baby or what you will make the nursery theme be and think about a wonderful life that is inside of you growing! My breast are still sore and I am 26 weeks pregnant and it is normal to get sick and not every day! Best of luck and congratulations!

some days will be better than others, just remember for most people morning sickness stops after the first trimester. As far as breast tenderness goes just do what you can to stay comfortable. I think every woman worrys about miscarrages in the begining. Just stay healthy and take good care of you and your baby, that way you know you are doing all you can to avoid a miscarrage. Good Luck to you!!!!! and hang in there. its all worth it in the end i promise!!!!

You sound perfectly normal.
Your breasts will feel better when they feel better.
You stop sleeping on your stomach when its uncomfortable to.
YOu have no reason to assume your body would fail your unborn child, its made to have babies and its doing its job to a T.
