So everywhere I've looked, it says to use an alan key to loosen the blades, and then to hit the reset button, etc. But mine (Sinkmaster, Bonecrusher 450) does not have the screw on the bottom. What can I do to unclog what's stopping the blades? It comes back on when I hit the reset button.

Bolt... screw... whatever. I know what it is, just not the right terminology. Anyways, I have to say goodbye to my wooden rolling pin. I'm not keeping it after that. But it did work. Thanks!!

With the power off, use a broom handle to turn the blades. The wood won't hurt them, and the long handle gives you the leverage to get them turning. Then hit the reset botton and turn it on. It should work fine. Good luck!

An Allen Wrench is not a screwdriver, so looking for a screw on the bottom is a mistake. An Allen wrench is a Hexogonal tool which is sort of like a reverse Socket. Sockets are hexogon shaped which go OVER the bolt, an Allen wrench is a Hexagon which goes INTO the bolt. Look for an opening in the bottom of your disposal which is Hexagon shaped. Find a matching allen wrench at a store like Home Depot.

Barring that, I've seen people dislodge the blades by using a Wooden broom handle and pushing gently against the blades. (Do NOT turn on the machien with the broom in the disposal, or with the Allen wrench in place!)

Turn the power to the unit off and try to unclog it with a wooden rod such as a broom handle. Use wood to keep from damaging the blades. Try to get the blades to move freely and then turn the power back on.

Most designs of disposers are capable of being taken apart from the sink and retored to their place with no part replacing,
look and see if there is a ring you can twist and release it from the sink connector...
First disconnect the power,
you will need either Pump pliers (channel locks) or a screw driver to disconnect the drain pipe from the disposer...
the flex hose from the dish washer can usually stay connected,,,
Dump out the junk and clear the monster's throat...
Huh hummm...
Send me some lovin from yer oven !!!
