We have a rather large Ethiopian and Eritrean population here in the DC area. They're a bit snotty. They don't particularly seem to like each other (I can't tell them apart...). They also seem to look down upon other Africans and they think that American black people don't have any culture. Otherwise, they aren't discriminated against any more than anyone else is in this area.
Lots of Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurants in the area. Good food!

Most of the Ethiopians I've met here are pretty nice people, their people have learned to be tolerant of others.

lots of ethiopians in my part of chicago. they are a dime a dozen. in my area their are like 10 ethiOpian restaurants. google RAS DE SHAN .nice ethiopian restaurant
