Question: What makes a country competent?

Question Details: Please give me in-depth answers and reasons! Thanks!

Deleted Answer: When conservatives are in charge and liberals are left free to do what they do best... whine.

And I am serious. Conservative are better equipped to make the hard choices because these choices should be based on logic and facts. Liberals are terrible at decision making because they base choices on emotion and conspiracy theories.

Examples of liberal whining are sure to follow.... see below.

Jon M: Your answer is the best, you are exactly right.

Maybe the whining comment is a little harsh... but it's really tame compared to other posts I see from libs and conservatives.

but the comments about emotion and conspiracy theories were not meant as insults. That is a direct answer to the question that I believe is true.

I agree that this is my OPINION, it is still an answer... Also, not whining, just curious if I overlooked a rule and this is truly a violation or if it is merely someone using the "call mommy" button to quickly.

I agree with you. Liberals have been vicious on deleting
postings lately. The truth hurts.

Why do you assume it was a liberal who reported you? Maybe it was a conservative who got up on the wrong side of the bed and was having a bad day. Honestly, maybe you should stop whining about a question being deleted --- there is a whole big world out there with issues and this is certainly not one of them. Have a nice day.

Maybe you should focus on specific examples rather than just throw out blanket insults. The problem is your question is disrespectful. You want to be respected for your conservative opinions but do not give an ounce of respect to the other side.
Say I asked, "Do Republicans prefer eHarmony or public restrooms in airports for meeting prospective mates?" I'm making a blanket insult. Do you think someone might report me?

It's your OPINION that "Conservative are better equipped to make the hard choices because these choices should be based on logic and facts. Liberals are terrible at decision making because they base choices on emotion and conspiracy theories", not fact.
Perhaps if you phrased your answers in a more kindly manner, they wouldn't be deleted.

You were maliciously reported. The only standard is whether you attempted to answer the question and you did that and more. You should appeal through the link at least twice and then try the Appeals board. Your odds of success will go up if you add a few sentences arguing how it is an answer and contains no personal insult to other participants. Don't be afraid to be redundant and explain the obvious in your appeal.

Liberals don't like censorship any more than conservatives do.

I am not a conservative, and I have thrown a couple of insults - I don't think I have had any deleted. But like I said before, anyone is capable of thinking logically in any party - stupid can be found anywhere.

Some people on here are just tired of every question and answer being an insult. Me too but I rarely violate.

If you wanted rational thinking... let's say you live on the wrong continent for that. If you really want to let people think by themselves, you need philosophy classes in high school in order for people to learn the methodology.

And of course it does not hurt when education is free in order to reduce the barriers to knowledge.

I have seen in the US just as much superstitions as in rural China.

Somebody obviously whined about it, and the chuckle-heads at Y/A took immediate action to ensure that a P.C. environment continues to reign supreme here. How that answer could be considered "insulting" is laughable.

I'm so sick and tired of having my answers reported, not because I was insulting but because someone doesn't agree with me. What kind of "open forum" is this where my answers get deleted just because someone's point of view happens to differ from mine? I just know that my account will be suspended soon because of these stupid violations.
