my daughter was born a month early, and she is 6 months and is crawling, what age did yours start crawling? she also just got her first tooth to break skin! yay i just want to see how she is going along with other babies, thanks

Wow, she is doing great! My two kids were born full term and didn't start crawling until about 7-8 months. But they sure got their first teeth early, at 4 month! I think your daughter is doing wonderful for her age :)

My daughter was army crawling at 5 weeks...and hands and knees crawling at 5 months. She started teething at 2 months and got her first 2 teeth at 4 months. And her 2 top teeth at 7 months. at 7 months she started pulling herself up on things and if we hold her hands she'll walk.
SO I think your little girl is doing awesome! But remember, don't get dis-appointed when she doesn't do something the times other babies are. Every baby is different! and just enjoy these times when she's just crawling. The more mobile they get the more you'll be on your toes watching every little move she makes. And now would be a good time to do a "floor sweep/baby proof" because they find EVERYTHING!!!! and before too long she'll be rolling over, pulling herself up, sitting, standing, and talking...so enjoy your time now!

My twins were born 2 mos early. They didn't start crawling until about 9 mos. So, I think your baby is doing great. I believe that crawling and sitting up happens around the same time. Of course, it was 24 years ago for me, but I still think I'm correct. Don't make the mistake of comparing babies with other babies. Everyone develops at different stages. My sister never crawled!! She just stood up and began to walk!!

My daughter is 8 months old, and two weeks ago she started crawling. Now her first tooth is coming through. She's been rolling since 6 months and sitting up at 6.5 months. Now she's babbling-"dadadadada" and "bababababa"-especially when she sees my hubby and a bottle. She's trying! Oh, and this morning I discovered that she can pull herself up from the office or living room floor onto the kitchen or dining room floor (it's built so we have to step up into the kitchen or dining room). Time for more baby gates!

My son was a week late and started crawling "army style" at 5 months. He was able to move out pretty quickly, but didn't get start crawling knees & hands till about 6 months. He got his first two teeth at 4mo.
Sounds like your daughter is doing very well. It's so exciting to watch them develop, right?!

my daughter's 7 months and sits up perfectly but doesn't crawl. she rolls around and pushes off her legs while on her back to get across the room. I've never seen this before, but like they say, every baby is different
