Check with your complex to see if they are really suppling "FREE wireless" ask them for the SSID which you need to connect into. If you have a 2wire adapter (they are good and work well IF the signal is strong enough!)

If your 2wire adapter is too weak get a better card. One with an EXTERNAL antenna will give you better connections and longer range. One like this one.

or for USB this one

These cards have well 10 times the power of your 2wire card and they have higher gain external antennas. I have used these for connections up to 2 miles! so they work.

Good Luck and God Bless

Pay for your own internet connection. Internet providers offer different levels of internet connection speeds. Chances are your complex subscribes to a lower speed one. If ou get your own you can subscribe to a faster level of speed.

It depends on where the wireless connection is if you too far from the router then the internet will be slow but if your closer to it the faster it goes.
