I went for a cross country ski the other day, and afterwards I had a lot of pain on the outside of my left foot when I put pressure on it. I could not (and still can't a week later) put pressure on it without feeling a lot of pain. There is no swelling at all, no bruising, and nothing to indicate a sprain. I think it might be a strain of the connective tissue in my foot. What should I do about it? Any ideas as to what it is?

If its been a week then you are going to have to see doc, normally it would have been a little better by now.
