When a small mass orbits a large gravitational mass, it moves at a velocity ^2 which is directly proportional to the gross mass and inversely proportional the the orbital radius.

V^2 =G M/R

It the rotating mass is a micromass of light it will not move any Faster the C^2 (velocity of light ^2).

So if we substitute C for V in the above equation ,we have a solution of a black hole mass "Ms" at a schwartzchild radius "Rs". Hence The micromass of light will continuously orbit the Black hole mass.Thus no escape, due to the intensity of the Gravitational field.( Gravity field is measured as acceleration)

However; we do not know of any mass that is constant in structure ,except for the Universeas a whole. Hence as per Definition of Black Holes theory, the Universe would fall under the definition of a Black hole.So on that note the Universe would be a Black hole having a very low mass density. However the Idea of Black Holes could only belong to the theory of micromasses and not to celestial bodies.

As per Schwartzchild Radius calculations the Greater the mass of a Black hole ,the lower its mass density. So a very massive black hole would have almost near zero density and this violates the basic principles of General relativity.

Gravity is the reason but I'm sure someone will point out that photons have no mass! So the best way to think of it is the curveature of space is so great that light just goes around the black hole in circles so doesnt escape!
Oh there is no good reason to postulate White holes where all the mas comes out. A common mistake is to say that black holes have infinite mass..they dont! they have a finite measurable mass that increses as matter falls in to them. What form that matter takes at the "centre" is whats rather unknown :)

It is the part of a black hole called the event horizon, this area of space is so tightly curved around the surface of the black hole light is forced to follow it, there is no escape from this area.

can you be sure that there is light trying to escape from a black hole in the first place

The gravitational field in the black hole that makes everything go to it in the first place.

There is a belief that there must be white holes somewhere, spewing it all back out, otherwise the universe wouldn't be infinite.

(tham153: Escape velocity restrictions apply only to unpowered projectiles. Rockets do not need to exceed seven miles per second to escape the gravitational pull of the Earth. That would be over 25,000 mph which is far too fast for traveling through our atmosphere; that's why meteorites burn up.)
